My experience with the Lord is new to me. I have always lived for myself. I didn't know about or believe in Christianity. It wasn't in my hands so I could touch it, or see it. I didn't believe in it.
The devil had me blinded for many years, he took me when I was young. I am sad to say of the 22 years he had 21 of them. But he doesn't have me anymore! Thanks to God Jesus.
Most of the people I have spoke to in the past have told me of vehicle wrecks and things of that nature which caused them to come to church seeking God. But for me, I just felt Him calling me there. I have never found a place where I belonged. For some reason I just never fit in, and was never really welcomed.
Well now I have found the place where I have always belonged and that is in God's presence at this church. The teaching I have heard there shook up my soul and I am not an emotional person. I cry sometimes by hearing the Word of God. The feelings and the emotions are sometimes too much for me. I never knew it could be like this.I want to give just one of the millions of examples of the power of God. I smoked for 8 years and dipped as well. I made a promise to god and I sat them down with no patch or gum, only God. No problem.
Last night I was baptized and I received the Holy Ghost. I have never felt anything like it in my entire life. I feel so clean and pure. It is indescribable, but I will try really hard to describe it for you. God took a cold hearted atheist and turned him into a glowing, loving, totally beside himself man.
I don't care who you are or where you come from, God is real! He wants you to know him, He wants you in His presence.
If you don't have God in your life you are missing out on the most wonderful thing there is.
